About Stephen
Stephen Colon is a progressive, service-minded student leader with a heart for others and a passion for public policy. Stephen has served on multiple boards and committees, including the California Association of Student Leaders Board of Directors, the Santa Fe High School Associated Student Body, and the East Whittier Action Alliance Committee. Presently, he is a student at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA where he serves as Sophomore Representative to Student Senate and as a Resident Assistant. Stephen is also an Organizational Intern for the California Association of Student Leaders, and on weekends, he tutors high school students in all subjects.
Stephen makes his living as an Instructor-Lifeguard for the City of Norwalk, where he teaches swim lesson while helping with various other activities. He also offers private swimming lessons, authorized by the Rio Hondo Red Cross.
